Collin Morikawa captured the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am with a decisive birdie on the 18th hole, ending a 28-month drought of PGA Tour victories. The two-time Major champion finished 22 points behind (69-68-62-67) after a thrilling finish marked by strong winds, spectacular comebacks, and an endless wait on the final par-5.
Morikawa hadn't won since the Baycurrent Classic in Japan (October 2023), after 45 tournaments without a win. On Sunday, he shot a solid 67 (-5) despite challenging conditions at Pebble Beach, where he faced long pauses and constant pressure from a crowded leaderboard.

Six players shared the lead at various points in the final round. Among them, Scottie Scheffler sealed the day's round with a 63 (-9) thanks to three eagles, including a 6-iron two feet off the shaft on the 18th that temporarily tied him with Morikawa. Scheffler finished 20 points behind, but it wasn't enough.
Morikawa took the lead with a 30-foot birdie putt on the 15th, followed by another birdie with a 6-foot green shot on the 16th. A bogey on the 17th restored parity with Min Woo Lee (65, -7 for the round), but on the par-5 18th, Morikawa hit a tee shot into the fairway and, after waiting about 20 minutes (while Jacob Bridgeman played from the beach and ended up in the water), hit a magnificent 4-iron from 230 yards in the strong wind. Two collar putts sealed the birdie and a one-shot victory over Sepp Straka (66-66-67-68) and Min Woo Lee (67-65-70-65).
“Great field and great leaderboard all day,” said Morikawa, who also joyfully announced that he and his wife are expecting their first child in the spring: “There’s so much in life to enjoy.”
Scottie Scheffler finished 20 points behind (72-66-67-63) along with Tommy Fleetwood (67-68-67-66). Akshay Bhatia, leading by two shots after 54 holes, struggled with just two birdies in the final 29 holes, finishing the fourth round on par and finishing 19 points behind (65-64-68-72), three shots behind the winner, tied for the spot with Sam Burns (63-67-72-67).
Morikawa climbs to world No. 5 with this victory, his seventh career PGA Tour win since his debut in 2019. This triumph stems from a more relaxed approach to the game, relaunching him as a key player this season. The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am once again confirms its status as an iconic PGA Tour event, with its thrills, wind, and the unique charm of Pebble Beach.
