Oof.
The Rebels will head to College Station to take on the Texas A&M Aggies and secure their first victory in the month of February. Hell, a moral victory would be securing their first single digit loss in the month of February.

Ole Miss is currently on a seven game losing streak, the longest since the 2018 season and easily the longest of Beard’s successful career. This season is the example of how volatile the NIL and transfer portal era can be. Last season and this season are simply polar opposites on how it can play out.
The Aggies are currently sporting a four game losing streak of their own. They don’t really have a signature win on the season, so their resume going forward will be about avoiding bad losses and sadly, our Rebels would be a bad loss for them at this point.
USC transfer Rashaun Agee is tops among five Aggies averaging double digit scoring with 13.7 per contest. Former Spanish pro Ruben Dominguez and Kansas transfer Rylan Griffen both shoot over 40% from behind the arc and on high volume. Dynamic sixth man Pop Isaacs from Creighton is a problem off the bench as well.
Something will have to change, but if anyone knew what it was, it would have likely happened at this point for the Rebels. Coach Beard says he is not going to quit fighting, but will the team?
