Former Tennessee offensive lineman Jackson Lampley was hired by Vanderbilt. He will serve as the Commodores’ assistant offensive line coach.
Lampley played at Tennessee from 2019-24 under head coaches Jeremy Pruitt and Josh Heupel. He appeared in 52 games, including three starts, for the Vols. Lampley allowed one sack in 647 offensive snaps.

He launched his coaching career in 2025 at LSU and served as an offensive intern for the Tigers. Lampley is the son of former Tennessee offensive lineman Brad Lampley. Brad Lampley played for the Vols from 1994-97.
Vanderbilt will kick off its 2026 football season Sept. 5 versus Austin Peay at FirstBank Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. The Commodores will host Tennessee at FirstBank Stadium on Nov. 28.
Vanderbilt defeated the Vols, 45-24, at Neyland Stadium on Nov. 29, 2025. The Commodores recorded their first 10-win season, including six SEC wins, in 2025.
Vanderbilt’s Black and Gold spring football game will be held April 18 at FirstBank Stadium.
