With a highly competitive regular season of Texas high school basketball now in the books, the 2025-26 UIL Girls Basketball Playoffs have finally arrived.
The long road to the UIL State Championships at the Alamodome began with bi-district round games early this week. Now, the Big Country’s best girls basketball squads are ready to tip off the area round of the Texas girls high school basketball playoffs Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 19-21.

Winners will advance to the regional semifinals, which will run from Monday, Feb. 23, through Tuesday, Feb. 24.
