Ethan Page Seen Using Cane After Brutal NXT Attack Ahead Of Title Defense

by

Ethan Page’s status has taken a turn following the chaotic ending to the February 17 episode of WWE NXT, and there’s now a clear update on the damage done.

Page successfully retained the North American Championship against Shiloh Hill in the main event, but the win quickly turned into a problem. After the match, Myles Borne stormed in to make the save and escalated things fast, leading to Page’s leg being targeted in a brutal post-match attack. The situation has now carried over beyond the show.

According to PWInsider, Ethan Page was seen using a cane to get around following the attack, signaling that the damage to his leg is more than just storyline hype and could play into his immediate future on NXT television or he could just be selling it.

The injury angle stems directly from that closing segment, where Page narrowly avoided having his leg fully Pillmanized before things spiraled further. Despite escaping the worst-case scenario in the moment, the aftermath clearly left him compromised.

This development comes at a critical time, as Page is set to deal with the fallout of that attack while continuing his run as North American Champion. With The Vanity Project involved, Shiloh Hill still in the mix, and now Myles Borne stepping up, Page suddenly has multiple threats closing in — and now he’s not at 100 percent.

Do you think Ethan Page’s injury will cost him the North American Championship, or will he find a way to fight through it? Let us know your thoughts.
