A heavyweight fight at Mexico Fight League 3 came to a screeching halt due to a snapped limb, prompting unfortunate memories of Anderson Silva, Chris Weidman, and others like it.
Renzo Aldave likely didn’t anticipate winning his pro debut in such a manner, but checking the leg kicks of Hector Negroe proved to be incredibly effective. Negroe (1-2) came out kicking from the start, but Aldave (1-0) checked one perfectly, causing a break, ending the fight abruptly just 57 seconds in.

It was a hard right kick that did it. Aldave checked the kick, and the sound of the snap was all he needed to hear to know the fight was over as Negroe fell to the canvas, folding over on his broken limb. There were no follow-up shots as the referee quickly rushed in to assess the damage.
Aldave appeared torn on how to react. On one hand, he just won his pro debut, but on the other, his opponent suffered a gruesome injury and was clearly dealing with intense pain. Medical professionals placed Negroe on a stretcher and carried him out of the cage.
Check out video of the gruesome finish in the video above, if you can stomach it.
