Indiana football is in the mix for one of the top wide receiver prospects in the high school recruiting class of 2027, per Hayes Fawcett of On3.
Quentin Burrell, a wide receiver out of Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, listed Indiana as being among his top-10 programs under consideration on Friday evening. He’s a 4-star prospect who ranks in as the 10th highest-rated wide receiver and 57th highest-rated player overall in the class of 2027, per the Rivals Industry Ranking.

Other programs listed in Burrell’s top-10 include Notre Dame, Miami, Michigan, LSU, Nebraska and Oklahoma. He is not related to the former Fighting Irish safety of the same name.
Indiana has been after a few different wide receiver prospects in the next recruiting class after finding success at the position in its first two seasons under head coach Curt Cignetti and position coach Mike Shanahan, who doubles as the Hoosiers’ offensive coordinator and playcaller.
