RAF co-founder Izzy Martinez warns Georgio Poullas that Arman Tsarukyan is no slouch on the mats.
Tsarukyan and Poullas meet in the RAF 6 co-main event, which takes place Feb. 28 at Mullett Arena in Tempe, Ariz.

Poullas, a Division I wrestler at Cleveland State University, continued his tradition of offering $1,000 to anyone who can take him down – and that includes Tsarukyan.
“We’re bringing anyone who loves wrestling together that can compete, and obviously Arman is No. 1 contender in the UFC, has probably the biggest draw in the Middle East, he has millions of fans,” Martinez told MMA Junkie Radio. “He wants to compete, he wants to wrestle, he wants his gold medal just like Urijah Faber.
“And you know what? On the other end, my man’s almost done proving that he can’t be taken down. He’s coming against a UFC No. 1 contender, putting it all on the line. I mean, kudos to him. You don’t have to do that Georgio, you don’t have to put your name on the line, nobody’s taking him down. Arman Tsarukyan techs Lance Palmer, four-time All-American.”
Amidst being iced out of the UFC lightweight title picture, Tsarukyan has stayed busy by competing in grappling matches. He most recently defeated former PFL champion Lance Palmer by technical fall at RAF 5 in January.
