Sebastian Korda came, saw, and conquered this week in Delray Beach. The Florida native whizzed through the field in an impressive display, dropping only a single set en route to his third career ATP title.

On Sunday, he powered past fifth-seeded Tommy Paul, 6-4, 6-3, in the tournament’s fifth all-American final. This victory marks Korda’s third ATP title and his first since Washington, D.C. in 2024.

Korda defeated three of the top five seeds and toppled a trio of top-25 players, showing the world the level of tennis he is capable of playing when his body isn’t betraying him.

Ranked No. 50, Korda has often been sidelined by injuries throughout his career. However, the former World No. 15 was clearly feeling 100 percent this week as he became the ninth American champion in Delray Beach Open history.

Korda claimed a tight opening set with the first break of the final in the tenth game. He then rallied from a break down in the second set, breaking Paul in two consecutive service games to take a 4-1 lead.

Paul stemmed the tide by saving a break point while serving at 1-4 to stay within range, but he could never ruffle the feathers of the 25-year-old Korda on return.

The American served out the title in style; after trailing 0-40 in the final game, he saved four break points to officially lock down the championship.
