Despite the loss at NC State on Sunday, Syracuse Orange center Uche Izoje was once again named the ACC WBB Rookie of the Week
This is the 7th time Izoje has been named ROTW and she has been selected in every month except November. Izoje should be the unanimous choice for ACC Rookie of the Year and the only question is whether she makes the 1st or 2nd All-ACC team in a week.
The freshman recorded her 11th double-double of the season with 26 points and 14 rebounds against NC State on Sunday. This is the 11th time Izoje has had a game with 10 or more rebounds, the fourth-most in the ACC this season.

Izoje is averaging 14.7 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game. Syracuse is back in action on Thursday when they head to Notre Dame.
