Tennessee softball ranked No. 1 for second consecutive week

Tennessee (14-0) earned its second consecutive No. 1 ranking on Tuesday during the 2026 softball season. The Lady Vols are ranked No. 1 in the NFCA/GoRout Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll.

The Lady Vols will play at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium this week for the first time in 2026, hosting the Tennessee Invitational.

Tennessee will open play versus Appalachian State on Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. EST (SEC Network+). The Lady Vols will also face Penn State on Friday (5:30 p.m. EST, SEC Network+).

Tennessee and the Nittany Lions will play again on Saturday at 3 p.m. EST. The Lady Vols will face North Carolina Central in their second contest on Saturday (5:30 p.m. EST). Both games can be watched on SEC Network+.

The Lady Vols will conclude play in the Tennessee Invitational against Appalachian State on March 1. First pitch is slated for 12:30 p.m. EST (SEC Network+).
