Dustin Rhodes Goes On Social Media Blocking Spree After WWE Return Backlash

by

Dustin Rhodes isn’t just defending his AEW loyalty — he’s cleaning house on his timeline.

Just hours after shutting down renewed talk of returning to WWE as Goldust, Rhodes escalated things by going on what he openly admitted was a full-on blocking spree. After receiving backlash from fans upset with his stance, Rhodes made it clear he wasn’t interested in debating anyone.

“Look, you come at me because you don’t like an answer I give, and you bad mouth me, bye. Blocked! And man is my block button on a roll today.”

Instead of engaging in long arguments, Rhodes chose the digital eject button — repeatedly. He suggested critics are upset that he’s thriving in AEW late in his career and refusing to entertain WWE nostalgia.

“Everyone mad because I am having the best yrs at the end of my career, and that I won’t put up with the BS of your mouth.”

The veteran didn’t stop there. He drew a hard line between what he considers real supporters and what he views as online noise. Rhodes even acknowledged that responding in the first place may not have been the smartest move.

“Its true fans that I love, not the internet IWC people. They are not fans.”

“I am good to my fans and yes, I shouldn’t reply when someone talks something they have no idea about, but like others, I make the mistake of replying. I will do better.”

Still, his loyalty to AEW remains firm — and so does his tolerance policy. He ended the message with a warning that made it clear the blocking wasn’t slowing down anytime soon.

“I love @AEW and would bleed out for them on national television.”

“I am the Natural Dustin Rhodes and respect is earned not given. So I suggest you haters #KeepSteppin off my feed.”

For fans who hoped social media pressure might soften his stance on a WWE return, this latest development suggests the opposite. Dustin Rhodes isn’t debating — he’s deleting access.

Do you think going on a blocking spree is the right move for Dustin, or does it just amplify the drama? Let us know your thoughts below.
