For the second time in her professional career, Angel Reese is a WNBA All-Star. The former LSU women’s basketball star’s selection was announced by the Chicago Sky on Sunday.
Reese made the cut following a selection as a rookie in 2024. Last year, Reese teamed up with Caitlin Clark on Team WNBA to defeat USA Basketball’s national team 117-109. Reese notched a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

This season, Reese is averaging 12.4 points, a league-best 12.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game for the Sky. She came into the year as the franchise’s leading rebounder.
The former All-American Tiger continues to make history in her young career. Reese became the first player in league history to post 15 or more rebounds in four straight games, peaking at 19 boards during the stretch.
Over the Sky’s most recent nine games, Reese is averaging 15 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per contest. She shoots 47.1% from the field and 85.7% from the foul line while also being tied for sixth in the league with 1.6 steals per game.
After winning a national championship under Kim Mulkey at LSU, Reese was selected with the No. 7 pick by the Sky in the 2024 WNBA Draft.
