The AAU summer circuit is in full swing as the summer moves along, with top basketball prospects all over the country vying for better positioning for their careers. Right now, the 3Stripes Select Basketball showcase is taking place, and it has the attention of a plethora of major college coaches, including Tom Izzo.
For the game that Izzo is paying close attention to, there is a pair of big men in the 2026 recruiting class that he has his eyes on.

First, Arafan Diane is a 7-foot-1, 260 pound center from Norwalk, Iowa. He currently ranks as the No. 15 overall player and the No. 1 center in the 2026 recruiting class according to 247Sports.
The second prospect is Latrell Allmond, a 6-foot-8 and 225 pound big man that could translate as either a power forward or a center at the next level. He currently ranks as the No. 40 player and No. 7 power forward in the 2026 recruiting class according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He is a native of Richmond, Virginia.
Neither prospect currently holds a Spartan offer, but one would think that the formality will happen in the near future, especially with Izzo getting an up close and personal view of the two highly touted prospects.
