by

LSU football continued its push for the No. 1-ranked recruiting class in college football on Thursday. The Tigers picked up a commitment from five-star defensive tackle Lamar Brown. Per ESPN’s rankings, Brown is the No. 1 recruit in the country. He’s the consensus No. 1 player in the state of Louisiana and was likely the top prospect on LSU’s board.

It came down to LSU and Texas A&M, but the Tigers bested the Aggies.
