Missouri State’s inaugural Conference USA schedules for men’s and women’s basketball were released on Friday afternoon.
The Bears’ first CUSA game will tip off at Delaware on Monday, Dec. 29, in Newark. The Lady Bears will tip CUSA competition off on Jan. 4 in Miami at Florida International.

Both conference seasons will conclude at the Conference USA Basketball Championship on March 10-14 in Huntsville, Alabama. In CUSA, both men’s and women’s tournaments are held simultaneously at the same location.
Times for the games will be announced at a later date.
The most notable date of the two schedules comes from the Lady Bears, who will conclude their regular season at Middle Tennessee on March 7. The two are likely to be labeled as the preseason favorites to win the league, in addition to Liberty.
The Bears’ schedule doesn’t include a road game at Jacksonville State. Reigning CUSA champion Liberty, and likely the preseason favorite, won’t visit Springfield this season.

The Lady Bears will only play UTEP (away), New Mexico State (away), Jacksonville State (home) and Kennesaw State (home) once this season.
