“Timeless” Toni Storm is ready to steal the show—again. As the reigning AEW Women’s World Champion gears up for her clash with Mercedes Moné at AEW All In: Texas, Storm brought her signature flair to a new interview with Emily Mae—and didn’t hold back when it came to her opponent.
Storm didn’t mince words when asked about Moné, whom she accused of pushing her past her limit.
“She pushed me to the point… I was happy to be very civilized from the get, but she’s just been a bit of a rude cow, hasn’t she? So, you know, had to deal with her. Had to put her in her place. And I’ll be finishing the job tomorrow.”
When pressed further, Storm delivered a brutal jab when asked to name the most tasteless thing in modern wrestling.
“Mercedes Moné,” she replied without hesitation. “Oh, all her taste is in her bloody mouth. I tell you that. Oh yeah, she’s, it’s been horrible to deal with. She’s a tasteless act. And tomorrow I’ll be putting a stop to that. She’ll be exiled like the rest of them. She’s going down.”
Storm also shed light on the eccentric preparation behind her “timeless” persona, revealing how her team preps her while she’s still sleeping.
“What they do is when I’m in my deepest REM sleep, very important, I have my team into my hotel room, and they get me prepared before I’m even awake. And then I just wake up, and I just pop on my little shoes, and I just skip on out.”
Asked to give fans tips on how to become “timeless” themselves, Storm stayed true to her character.
“Well, I suppose you’ll have to be a world-renowned athlete… have some kind of unbelievably incredible ambiance.” She then credited her clairvoyant abilities as the third ingredient to timelessness.
The AEW Women’s World Champ also had a few words—mostly dismissive—about her butler Luther. When asked to name his best qualities, she struggled.
“Oh, God. I mean, I don’t know. I mean, look at Luther. I mean, he is what he is, but he does a good job, I suppose.” She added, “I keep him around so I can slap that bald head of his. I mean, it’s like his only positive trait, really.”
