Harley Cameron made her shocking return during AEW All In: Texas, where she appeared at the Women’s Casino Gauntlet match. She didn’t really get physical there and now it appears Tony Khan has explained why that was the case.
While speaking during the post AEW All In: Texas scrum, Tony Khan talked about Harley Cameron’s status after her return at All In Texas. He said he was able to feature Harley Cameron physically, but there’s still only so much she can do since she’s limited from taking contact.
Tony Khan noted that Harley Cameron was obviously wearing a mask, but he wanted her out there, and she ended up getting a great reaction from the crowd at All In: Texas.
“Harley’s another great example. I did get Harley physically featured but there’s only so much she can do, she’s still limited from contact. Obviously she’s wearing that mask but I did wanna have Harley out there and she did have a great reaction.”
Harley Cameron’s return came after she was written off TV with a brutal injury angle back in May and she had to undergo surgery for the injury back in June. Nonetheless, Harley Cameron’s return was clearly meant to keep her in front of the fans while she continues to recover. Judging by the reaction she got, it’s obvious people are excited to see her back. Now we’ll just have to wait and see when she’ll be ready for her in-ring return.
What did you think of Harley Cameron’s return at All In: Texas? Are you hoping to see her back in full in-ring action soon? Sound off in the comments.
