Nikki Bella went off on fans who constantly ask her whether she’s even seen her son, Matteo, recently.
Bella took to her Instagram story and uploaded a screenshot of a fan asking her whether her son ever sees her. Bella responded to the fan, saying that people don’t usually ask dads that question.
Bella explained that her son had been with her the whole week and just because she doesn’t post pictures of him often doesn’t mean he’s not with her. She tries to keep his life private for his own good.
“Wonder if you write that to Dads? And yes, he was with me 🙂 All week. Just because I don’t post him all the time doesn’t mean he isn’t with me. I try to keep as much as I can private for his sake. Thank you.”
Bella then went off on such fans and stated that her son is with her most of the time when she’s home. Every Tuesday when she lands, she goes straight to pick him up and usually drops him off on Sundays when she leaves. Sometimes she’s away longer, but she and his dad Artem Chigvintsev have a good co-parenting system. He knows how much their son needs his mom.
Nikki Bella said she doesn’t post about her son all the time because she wants to protect his privacy. She’s okay with sharing a few moments now and then, but not everything. She asked people to stop making comments like that, saying she felt upset because some people think that if a child isn’t shown online, they’re not with their parent.
“So for all to see—my son is with me a lot. Majority of the week when I’m home. Every Tuesday when I land, I drive straight to get him. And drop off on Sundays when I leave. Sometimes I am gone longer, and his dad and I have a great co-parent system. He understands how much he needs his mommy.
I just choose not to post him all the time to protect his privacy. I wish it could be protected more. I understand sharing certain moments every now and then, but not all the time. So please—no more comments like this. Maybe I shouldn’t have responded, but I was triggered because a small group of you think if your kid isn’t posted all the time, he isn’t with you.”
Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev divorced last year and since then, they have been co-parenting their son Matteo and it’s obvious that Bella loves her son very much. That’s why fans hope she won’t be bothered by such questions ever again.
