Saturday, 6:35 p.m. ET — Hartford Yard Goats (COL) @ New Hampshire Fisher Cats (TOR)
This matchup is all about polished, fast-rising prospects facing off. On the mound for New Hamsphire will be right-hander Trey Yesavage (TOR No. 2/MLB No. 51), making his sixth start at Double-A and fresh off an efficient showing in the Futures Game. His biggest challenge will be fellow former SEC star Charlie Condon (COL No. 1/MLB No. 20), another recent arrival to the level. He had an .875 OPS through his first 12 games with Hartford.
Sunday, 5:15 p.m. ET — Binghamton Rumble Ponies (NYM) @ Reading Fightin’ Phils (PHI)
Catchers be on your toes, and pitcher’s beware: this game pits two of the most disruptive offensive threats in the Eastern League against one another. On one side is Reading shortstop Aidan Miller (PHI No. 2/MLB No. 19), the league leader in stolen bases entering the week, with 35. On the other side is the excellent Jett Williams (NYM No. 1/MLB No. 39), who ranks among the league leaders in both steals (28; 4th) and OPS (.894; 2nd).
