The Mercury, which began their trip against the New York Liberty on July 25, were tied with the Liberty for most 3-pointers per game (10.0) at the All-Star break.

The teams haven’t played each other since May 25, when the Mercury defeated the Mystics 68-62 at PHX Arena.

Since then, the Mystics have had three players named to the All-Star Game, including rookies Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen, along with Brittney Sykes.

Citron and Iriafen started in all 23 games entering the July 26 matchup with Seattle.

Citron was second in scoring and rebounding for rookies, posting 13.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game entering the weekend. Iriafen handily leads all rookies with 8.3 rebounds and is third with 12.0 points per game.

Sykes leads the team in points (17.1) and assists (4.5).

Entering games on July 24, the Mercury were 6-4 on the road, the second-best mark in the WNBA.

The game will be shown locally on Arizona’s Family 3TV and Arizona’s Family Sports.

The Fever might be without second-year sensation Caitlin Clark when the Mercury visit on July 30. After that, it’s a rematch and a chance for redemption against Brittney Griner and the Atlanta Dream Aug. 1.
