WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley has dealt with obsessive fans before, but she’s now revealing just how far one stalker went — leaving a love poem under her door on Valentine’s Day while she was thousands of miles away.
During an appearance on Cheap Heat, Ripley opened up about a disturbing encounter involving a female stalker who showed up to her home, stared into her Ring camera, and left a handwritten note that read like something out of a horror movie. The worst part? Rhea wasn’t even home — she was in Australia at the time.
“I had someone rock up on Valentine’s Day, this past Valentine’s Day. And luckily I was in Australia ’cause like — she just stared into my Ring camera. She left a poem under my door, saying that like we’re the sun and the moon and we’re meant to be together.”
Ripley admitted she was relieved she wasn’t home, because if she had answered the door, she would’ve been completely unsettled by the encounter.
“If I was home, I would have answered the door and I would have been so uncomfortable. And I don’t want to feel uncomfortable in my own damn house. Like, that’s just not okay. Everyone should have their space to like go home and relax and not have to worry about someone random looking through your window or knocking on your door.”
Ripley also called out the entitlement some fans feel toward WWE Superstars, just because they see them on TV.
“Some, not all of them — but some of them do think that they own us because we are on live television weekly. And I don’t stand for that. I’m a human being as well… I don’t want random people rocking up at my door to like mark out over me.”
This isn’t the first time Ripley has had to deal with stalkers. Earlier this year, she shared another terrifying encounter where a woman repeatedly showed up at her house, rang the doorbell for minutes at a time, and even returned wearing different clothes.
WWE fans might love Rhea Ripley in the ring, but her story is a chilling reminder that wrestlers deserve the same privacy and safety as anyone else.
