Michigan State basketball will reportedly host a big-time small forward prospect for an official visit next month.
Maximo Adams of Chatsworth, Calif. will reportedly take an official visit to Michigan State in September. According to recruiting insider Joe Tipton of On3, Adams will take an official visit to Michigan State on September 11 and is also expected to take official visits to Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina, Texas and Duke.

Adams ranks as the No. 17 small forward in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2026 class. He is also listed as the No. 40 player overall and No. 6 player from California in the class.
Michigan State recently extended a scholarship to Adams, and holds offers from more than 30 schools, according to 247Sports. Other notable programs to offer him includes Duke, Kansas, North Carolina, Texas, Kentucky, USC, Alabama, Arizona State, BYU, Houston, Illinois, Maryland, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oregon, Purdue, Syracuse, TCU, Washington, Xavier, Nebraska and Maryland.
