As a mom of kids who love golf, I can tell you that finding great kidsโ golf clubs can be difficult. There are very few options, and while Iโve always gravitated toward U.S. Kids Golf, Wilson and PING junior sets, thereโs a new player in the game. And this company also happens to be my kidsโ favorite golf ball brand. If youโve seen the Vice Shade and Drip, you know why. If youโre in the market for junior clubs, Vice now has a few new options worth a look.
The three Vice junior sets
Vice created three sets in this release, one for every player from ages 6 to 12 or 44 to 58 inches tall.
TOUR JUNIOR (Ages 6โ8 | Height 44″โ49″)
A simple, lightweight starter set aimed at building solid contact and confidence. It has five golf clubs and comes with a carry bag.
- Fairway wood: 23ยฐ
- Irons: 7-iron (37ยฐ), 9-iron (47ยฐ), sand wedge (57ยฐ)
- Blade putter
- Lightweight carry bag
PRO JUNIOR v1 (Ages 7โ10 | Height 49″โ53″)
The v1 PRO JUNIOR adds a true driver and a hybrid for kids who swing a little faster and are ready for more gapping.
- Driver: 17ยฐ
- Hybrid: 27ยฐ
- Irons: 7-iron (36ยฐ), 9-iron (46ยฐ), sand wedge (56ยฐ)
- Blade putter
- Lightweight carry bag
PRO JUNIOR v2 (Ages 9โ12 | Height 54″โ58″)
The most complete setup, including a fairway wood and an added long iron to bridge distance gaps.
- Driver: 17ยฐ
- Fairway wood: 23ยฐ
- Irons: 5-iron (27ยฐ), 7-iron (34ยฐ), 9-iron (44ยฐ), sand wedge (54ยฐ)
- Blade putter
- Lightweight carry bag
What makes these clubs kid-friendly?
Vice says these arenโt just scaled-down adult clubs. Theyโre purpose-built for junior swing characteristics. Hereโs what stands out:
- Weight and flex tuned for juniors: Ultra-light builds are designed to help kids create speed without muscling the club.
- Lofts and head mix that make sense: Higher-loft drivers (17ยฐ) and fairway woods (23ยฐ) promote launch. Set makeups progress logically from TOUR to PRO v2, adding a hybrid, then a fairway, and a 5-iron as speeds and heights increase.
- Age/height-specific sizing: Three distinct height windows (44″โ49″, 49″โ53″, 54″โ58″) to reduce the common โclub is too long/heavyโ problem that stalls development.
- Injury-aware design: Vice highlights a โweight ร flexibility balanceโ intended to support proper mechanics and reduce strain.
- Ball/club pairing: Vice is pushing a matched ball strategy so kids arenโt fighting a rock-hard ball with a soft shaft (or vice versa).

But what about the extras?
If your kids are anything like mine, the accessories matter. Vice knew the kids would be looking for all the gear so there are some extras to help complete the entire ensemble, including the new Vice junior golf balls:

- TOUR JR Ball โ $19.99/dozen, soft 50 compression, easy launch for ages 6โ10.
- PRO JR Ball โ $39.99/dozen, “tour-style” 70 compression for competitive juniors.

My take
Iโm looking forward to having my kids try these golf clubs. Vice has done a great job balancing technology and value, and Iโm curious to see how that plays out in these junior sets. At first glance, the clubs look great, and theyโre stylish enough to catch the eye of any young golfer. The junior golf space definitely needed another option.
