UCF basketball set to play ACC opponent in Daytona Beach in November

by

UCF confirmed a pair of non-conference men’s basketball matchups Aug. 14, including a neutral-site showdown in Daytona Beach.

The Knights are one of three teams set to take part in the Legends Classic, headlined by a Nov. 20 game against Pittsburgh at the Ocean Center. It will be the second all-time meeting between the Power Four programs. Pitt won the previous contest, 53-44, during the first round of the 2004 NCAA Tournament.

In addition, UCF will host Quinnipiac on Nov. 25 at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando.

UCF, which went 20-17 last season and reached the finals of the inaugural College Basketball Crown, replaced nearly its entire roster in the offseason. The Knights do not return a single player who scored a basket for the team in 2024-25.

Further non-conference games and Big 12 dates will be released at a later date. Listed below are the Knights’ 2025-26 conference opponents, per the Big 12’s scheduling matrix released June 12:

  • UCF Big 12 home/road opponents: Cincinnati, Oklahoma State, West Virginia

Tickets are on-sale now at Ticketmaster.com. They also can be purchased at the Ocean Center’s box office on the day of competition.
