Sinner takes the pair’s first meeting at a major, winning the round of 16 encounter in four sets.
3. Umag, 2022: Sinner d. Alcaraz 6-7(6), 6-1 6-1
In the pair’s first final, Sinner gets the win from a set down, winning the clay-court final decisively.
4. US Open, 2022: Alcaraz d. Sinner, 6-3, 6-7(7), 6-7(0), 7-5, 6-3
Their first instaclassic! Alcaraz saved a match point to win this epic quarterfinal, and goes on to win his first major title.
5. Indian Wells, 2023: Alcaraz d. Sinner 7-6(4), 6-3
Not quite a classic, but this intense battle had its moments.
6. Miami, 2023: Sinner d. Alcaraz, 6-7(4), 6-4 6-2
Sinner snaps a two-match losing streak to gain revenge for the Indian Wells loss, winning this hard-fought semi from a set down.
7. Beijing, 2023: Sinner d. Alcaraz, 7-6(4), 6-1
Sinner starts his own streak with a commanding performance in the Beijing semis against his rival.
8. Indian Wells, 2024 Alcaraz d. Sinner, 1-6, 6-3, 6-2
Alcaraz gets his first win from a set down against Sinner, and maintains his dominance over the Italian at Indian Wells, where he goes on to successfully defend his title.
9. Roland-Garros, 2024: Alcaraz d. Sinner, 2-6, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3
In their first meeting on the terre battue of Paris, Alcaraz wins a lengthy battle, coming back from two sets to one down. He goes on to win his first French Open title, defeating Zverev in a five-set final.
10. Beijing, 2024: Alcaraz d. Sinner, 6-7(4), 6-4, 7-6(3)
That’s three in a row for the Spaniard, the first three-match win streak in the rivalries’ history.
11. Rome, 2025: Alcaraz d. Sinner 7-6(5), 6-1
Alcaraz improves to 2-1 against Sinner on clay, winning their first Masters final in straight sets.
12. Roland-Garros, 2025: Alcaraz d. Sinner, 4-6, 6-7(4), 6-4, 7-6(3), 7-6(2).
Their best match to date is an epic in the Roland-Garros final, with Alcaraz saving three championship points as he rallies to win his fifth major title. It goes down as one of the best matches of the 21st century. Alcaraz takes his winning streak to five against Sinner.
13. Wimbledon, 2025: Sinner d. Alcaraz, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4
Sinner turns the tide on his rival and denies Alcaraz a Wimbledon three-peat.
