It will be a new-look Tech squad, which returns six players from last season. The U.S.-born team members are coming off a silver medal representing Team USA at the Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire’s World University Games in Germany this summer. Tech’s four international players were ineligible for American team.
West Texas A&M’s Kenadee Winfrey, former Auburn and Texas forward DeYona Gaston and student manager Laci White joined the Lady Raiders players for the competition. China beat the USA 81-69 in the gold-medal game.
