Never count Roman Reigns out.
WWE Raw went down at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Monday, August 18, 2025. The company brings a lot to the table when they’re in Philly, and Roman Reigns was around to shake things up.
The OTC hasn’t been around for a while, as he took a little bit of a break. His return to the scene was a big deal, and he has a lot to deal with.
The main event of the night during RAW this week saw Jey Uso take on Bron Breakker in an Extreme Rules match. Things broke down at the end as Bronson Reed ran down to get involved. Then LA Knight and Seth Rollins ran down to start the fight. CM Punk came down next to fight Rollins and stop him from hurting Jey Uso further.
This resulted in Seth Rollins taking shots from LA Knight and Seth Rollins in the middle of the ring. Finally, Rollins got away from CM Punk’s GTS and LA Knight accidentally found himself going through a table as Rollins bumped Punk off of him.
The Extreme Rules kept going on through everything as Bron Breakker set up another table. Fans started chanting for the OTC as Bron set Jey Uso up, and then the former World Champion started laying in super kicks to Breakker. Finally, Bronson Reed knocked Jey off the top rope to the floor. As fans chanted for Roman Reigns, he finally made his way out to stop The Vision from continuing their attack on his cousin.
Bron Breakker was stopped dead in his tracks as Roman Reigns appeared out of nowhere with a spear at ringside. Then Reed ate a Superman Punch before Braekker as thrown back in the ring so Jey Uso could wrap things up with a superkick and a splash through the table to get the win.
We will have to see what happens next for Roman Reigns. He is destined to find his way back to the top of the WWE roster. Only time will tell what the future holds for the OTC.
