Sooners coach Brent Venables rebuilt his offense with Washington State imports Ben Arbuckle and John Mateer. OU also returns a stacked defense, which Venables will lead as the playcaller.
The Sooners will play one of the toughest schedules nationally, with seven of their opponents ranked in the AP Top 25. On the latest edition of the SoonersXtra Podcast, OU beat writers Colton Sulley and Ryan Aber predict each game on the schedule.
And with the camp coming to a close and several players raising their stock, the Sooners’ depth chart is expected to be released sometime next week. Aber and Sulley give their takes on who might start and which position groups to watch when OU begins its season.
The Sooners and the Redbirds kick at 5 p.m. next Saturday on SEC Network+.
