The Chicago Sky will be back in action in a matchup that may feature Angel Reese.
Reese practiced with the Sky on Monday and Chicago coach Tyler Marsh mentioned that she didn’t skip a beat after missing seven straight games.

Marsh also explained that Reese picked up on the game plan heading into a matchup against the Seattle Storm tomorrow. While the Sky have yet to reveal the official injury report, Marsh’s comments hinted at a potential return for Reese.
As Chicago bulks up its roster just before the matchup against Seattle, the Storm made a move of their own.
On Monday, the Seattle Storm signed Zia Cooke to a rest-of-season contract.
Throughout her first season with the Seattle Storm, Zia Cooke has posted 3.3 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game.

Before her time with the Storm, Cooke played two seasons with the Los Angeles Sparks.
Cooke has helped the Storm to the No. 8 seed in the league standings. Seattle needs a second-half push to make the postseason, but a crowded West seems to be hurting its chances, going 2-8 in their last 10 games.
The Storm guard has played 24 games with Seattle this season, which is her third in the WNBA.
Before playing for the Storm and the Sparks, Zia Cooke spent her college basketball career at South Carolina. Cooke helped lead Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks to an NCAA title in 2022.

Throughout her second season in the WNBA, Angel Reese has posted 14.2 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game for the Chicago Sky.
Chicago may be sitting near the bottom of the league standings, but whenever Reese returns, the league may be put on notice by one of the best forwards in the WNBA.
