Aliyah Addresses Possible WWE Return

by

Former WWE star Aliyah isn’t closing the door on a return to the company that gave her the global stage.

In part two of her sit-down interview with PWMania.com’s Andy London, Aliyah reflected on her journey, her struggles with missed opportunities, and what the future could hold — including the chance of stepping back into a WWE ring.

Aliyah, whose real name is Nhooph Al Areebi, made it clear that she has the versatility and experience to fit into multiple roles if WWE or another promotion came calling.

“Oh yes — the million-dollar question. I bring a lot of experience and versatility to the table. At this stage, I can work as a Babyface, Heel, or in a supporting role — whatever helps elevate the product and make the show stronger. I know how to make other performers look good in the ring, engage the audience, and contribute to the product in a way that drives excitement and revenue. My goal is simple: to add value wherever I’m needed and help the roster shine at every level.”

Aliyah stressed that while passion drives her, practicality plays a big part in her decision-making. Life after WWE has shown her just how expensive maintaining a wrestling career can be.

“I also have to do what’s sustainable for me and my future. The cost of being a professional wrestler, especially at my age, is intense with the maintenance: health insurance, gym, chiropractor, massage, personal trainer, house, food, electricity, supplements, gear, hair, clothes, makeup, hotels, immigration lawyer, accountant, PR rep, rental cars, even the dog sitters — I live alone, so the bills really add up.”

Still, despite the grind, Aliyah believes she has something valuable to offer WWE if the timing and circumstances are right.

“To perform at my best, it has to be the right offer. I believe I can be an asset at all 3 of the major wrestling promotions, whether it’s WWE, NXT, AEW, or even TNA.”

Aliyah’s words suggest that while she’s open to exploring AEW or TNA, the idea of returning to WWE — the place where she built her name — is far from off the table.
