WNBA rookie star Paige Bueckers is having a historic season and Panini America is celebrating the moment.

On Friday, a WNBA Panini Instant Access 1-of-1 signed card of Bueckers with a “1st All Star Game” inscription hit the auction block. The card was on Panini’s website via Dutch Auction starting at 3 p.m. ET.

With a starting price of $15,000.

The card could go for less as the auction floor is $2,500.

A dutch auction is a type of auction where the price drops until a buyer is found. The card could go for $15,000 or less. It just depends on when someone decides to make a purchase.

Along with the 1-of-1 Bueckers card, Panini has also put together another set of 30 signed Bueckers Instant Access cards without an inscription, priced at $2,500.

These cards come at nearly a perfect moment. Bueckers broke the WNBA rookie scoring record on Wednesday, when she netted 44 points for the Dallas Stars.

Panini has seen success with its direct-to-consumer offerings for WNBA products this year.

In June, it sold WNBA Rookie Royalty with two cards per box, featuring Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese on high-end autographed cards. That box was also sold via Dutch Auction with a starting price of $30,000.

While the price did drop as time went, they still sold for tens of thousands of dollars, netting the company millions.

And many of the singles from the set have sold for extreme amounts, including a 2024 Panini Flawless WNBA Platinum Caitlin Clark Rookie Logowoman Patch Autographed 1/1 card, which sold for a record $660,000.
