A season can’t start any better than that.
Rocky Mountain began the 2025 high school football season with an exclamation point, returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown against Northglenn.
Senior receiver and returner Bode Nesbitt fielded a bouncing kick at his own 14-yard line, made one cut up the field through a wall of blockers and sauntered all the way home for an 86-yard score.
Nesbitt, one of The Coloradoan’s football Players to Watch this year, must enjoy playing the Norsemen. He had two receiving TDs against Northglenn in Rocky’s 31-0 season-opening win in 2024.
