What a finish! Ryan Blaney and close finishes on superspeedways – what is better than that, folks? The 2023 champ does it again. Blaney made his way from 13th to 1st in the final two laps to claim the win in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona.
The NASCAR season did not end with a surprise winner and entrant to the Playoffs. Ryan Blaney shut that down in the last two laps. Cole Custer, Chris Buescher, Ryan Preece – they were all there and hoping to win this race in the end. Blaney broke all of their hearts.
There was a seven-lap dash to the finish to end this race. It wasn’t sloppy. Blaney was right where he needed to be and then finished the job on the last lap with excellent superspeedway moves.
