Former Tennessee offensive coordinator and seventh-year head coach Tyson Helton guided Western Kentucky to a, 41-24, home win versus Sam Houston.
Hawaii won the final Week 0 contest, defeating Stanford, 23-20, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
