The Mercury then host the defending WNBA champion New York Liberty on Saturday, Aug. 30. Phoenix leads the season series 2-1.
The Liberty hope to have forward Breanna Stewart return from a knee injury by the end of August, which means the Mercury could face the All-Star and two-time MVP.
Without Stewart, the Liberty have turned to free agent signee Emma Meesseman, who averaged 15.0 points in eight starts.
The game will be shown locally on Arizona’s Family 3TV and nationally on NBA TV.
The Mercury will end the homestand with the Indiana Fever on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
