• Johnny Walker spoiled the homecoming party for Zhang Mingyang. The Brazilian veteran pulled off a big upset win, stopping Zhang in the main event of UFC Shanghai. It was an off, but effective performance from Walker, which helped him snap a two-fight skid. What’s next for Walker? How much did the loss hurt Zhang’s stock? We analyze the headliner, plus other key results from UFC Fight Night 257.
• PFL wrapped its tournaments for 2025 in Hollywood, Fla. The event crowned the last three divisional champions: Fabian Edwards at middleweight, Antonio Carlos Jr. at light heavyweight and Oleg Popov at heavyweight. We go over those title wins and do an overall review of the PFL in 2025.
• There was a lot of paperwork done this past week. The UFC added some big fights to its calendar in Reinier de Ridder vs. Anthony Hernandez, Rob Font vs. Raul Rosas Jr. and others. We also saw the UFC release Bryan Battle after his weight miss for UFC 319, and Jake Paul booked an exhibition bout against Gervonta Davis. We take a look at these bookings, roster movement and more.
