TV dispute could have direct impact on Michigan State football season opener

by

One of the biggest stories across college football has nothing to do with the actual games that are set to be played, and this news could directly affect Michigan State football’s opener against Western Michigan.

As reported by On3 Sports, Fox and YouTube TV are currently in a dispute, which in turn could cause a blackout for all Fox programming on the streaming service. The deadline to reach an agreement is Wednesday at 5 p.m.

This news directly affects the Spartans, as MSU is set to play against Western Michigan inside of Spartan Stadium at 7 p.m. on FS1, which would be blacked out if an agreement is not made between the two companies. Any fan of MSU, that also has YouTube TV, should play close attention to this news ahead of Friday’s opener.
