Mavericks Ramp Up Efforts To Trade Olivier Maxence Prosper

by

The Dallas Mavericks are attempting to trade Olivier-Maxence Prosper as they seek the roster space needed to complete the signing of Dante Exum.

Prosper was the 24th overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft out of Marquette. Prosper appeared in 52 games last season with the Mavericks, averaging 3.9 points and 2.4 rebounds in 11.2 minutes. It was initially reported in late June that the Mavericks were exploring a trade of Prosper.

Exum has spent the past two seasons with the Mavericks. Last season, Exum averaged 8.7 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 18.6 minutes over 20 games. Exum and the Mavericks agreed to a one-year deal on July 2nd, but the deal has not yet been officially signed.
