True freshman phenom Aaliyah Chavez led the Sooners with 20 points and added seven rebounds and six assists.
Chavez owns the top scoring mark among all true freshmen in the country and is on pace to join Hannah Hidalgo, Paige Bueckers, Caitlin Clark, Chennedy Carter and Kelsey Mitchell as the only freshmen to ever average 18.5 points, four assists and three rebounds per game.
Chavez is already a four-time SEC Freshman of the Week and one-time National Freshman of the Week honoree. Sheβs largely viewed as the current favorite to win the National Freshman of the Year award this season.
OU center Raegan Beers registered her 56th career double-double in the win, finishing with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

OU has now won six consecutive road contests.
The Sooners and Texas A&M will meet again this season as designated double opponents. Under the SEC’s format, each team plays every conference opponent once and one team twice.
The Aggies will visit Norman on Jan. 29.
Next, OU hosts Mississippi State at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lloyd Noble Center.
