Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev wins in 30 seconds

Yakhyaev (7-0) cracked Alik Lorenz (6-2) early in the first round and got zero resistance as his opponent crumbled and the fight was waved off 30 seconds into the light heavyweight contest at UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

After the fight, Yakhyaev said he requested a UFC debut from Dana White at the promotion’s Oct. 11 event in Rio de Janeiro.

“I have the best feeling a human can possibly have after such a knockout,” Yakhyaev said through an interpreter in his post-fight interview. “I told (Dana White) I want to make my UFC debut in Brazil.”
