Also back on this episode: AEW’s recent propensity for the “all-star” eight-person tag team match, in this case a women’s division showcase that will see AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm team up with Mina Shirakawa, Kris Statlander, and Harley Cameron to take on the Triangle of Madness and their partner, Megan Bayne. Everyone is banned from ringside for this one, a stipulation that could feed into a story some fans are expecting to lead to the first-ever women’s Blood & Guts match.
On the male side of things, Daniel Garcia takes on Jon Moxley in a rematch from last week’s “AEW Dynamite.” Garcia has never beaten Moxley, but he’s gotten closer every time — will Saturday be the night it happens? Also, Mark Briscoe will battle the Don Callis Family’s Konosuke Takeshita, and Callis himself will address the AEW audience alongside TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher following Wednesday’s brutal assault on Kenny Omega. Finally, independent standout Adam Priest has found a partner in the form of Tommy Billington to help him stand up to FTR as the road to All Out (and FTR vs. Cope & Christian) continues.
