Connors then sets Darby up for some chops, but Darby starts fighting back from the guardrail as the referee’s count continues. Darby then slides into the ring just enough to break the count, but Clark goes right back to work on Darby.
Connors then charges into Darby in the corner before sending him to the mat with a back body drop. He then goes up top, getting the drop on Allin for two. Darby then fights back with a right hand from the apron, but takes a spear from Connor that drives him onto the apron before falling to the floor. Clark then gets back to his feet and sets up the ring steps, shades of what Gabe Kidd did previously before breaking the referee’s count. He then leaves the ring to set up for a belly to belly suplex onto the steps, but Darby manages to break free. Clark then grabs him for an Irish whip into the back of the steps, but Darby leaps over to avoid it. He then runs up the steps for a missile dropkick of sorts, sending Connors to the floor.
Connors then tries to get away from Darby, who slides back into the ring for a dive sending Clark back to the floor once again. The fight then returns to the ring as Connors tries to fight it out with Darby in the corner. He then ends up sending Darby down with a spear, but it’s only good for a near fall. The winner of the Singles Match, Darby Allin!
After the match, Darby vows to stand atop AEW. Before he can call out MJF, he is attacked by a man in a black hoodie and it’s Gabe Kidd. Gabe and Connors then set the steps up, sending him chest-first into the unforgiving steel. They then leave the steps on top of Darby’s weakened body. Kidd then says Darby claims he’s done with the Death Riders, but he’s not here on Death Rider business. Kidd then says he is here on Kidd business and it won’t stop until Darby’s pushing up daisies. Xavier then reverses it, but Rush breaks free and each man hits the ropes until Xavier hits a headscissors to take Rush to the mat. Rush then hits the ropes, but runs into a dropkick by Xavier for two. Rush then gets confused in the chaos and ends up in the wrong corner and Wentz makes the tag from Xavier before hitting a bronco buster for a near fall.
A tag is then made to Andretti and CRU hits a double-team that garners a two count. Wentz then fights back with an arm drag, but is taken to the CRU corner by Andretti. He and Andretti then tag in, with Wentz catching Andretti off guard to send him into the canvas. He then hits a rising knee strike in the corner and it is followed by a snapmare, a PK and a standing shooting star press, but all that is only good for a two count as Andretti kicks out. Rush then comes in now and it’s a fight between all four men until CRU sends the Rascalz to the outside for a double dive of their own.
Rush then keeps Wentz out of the ring as Andretti hits a cutter for a close two count. CRU then set up for a double suplex, but Wentz gives an assist to stop it before they hit a flurry of kicks on CRU.
