TNA co-founder and current AEW Director of Business Development Jeff Jarrett didn’t hold back, publicly questioning TNA president Carlos Silva’s vision for the promotion amid its resurgence.
During an episode of his My World With Jeff Jarrett podcast, the wrestling legend voiced confusion over the company’s path forward—even as TNA hits new highs. Jarrett pointed out the confusing media strategy and questioned ambitious goals:
“I don’t, to this day, know what is the business model. Like, what is the plan? And partnerships are great… I’m trying to figure out what is your goal here with all these partnerships? But more importantly, what’s your goal here, like, what’s your direction? Where are you headed?”
He also took aim at TNA’s reported target of a $10 million media rights deal, calling it “way, way, way low” considering the company’s recent momentum and vision. Jarrett warned that bold numbers don’t mean much without a clear plan:
“What is the plan? And partnerships are great… but more importantly, what’s your goal here, like, what’s your direction? Where are you headed?”
Jeff Jarrett didn’t mince words—and when the guy who built TNA questions its future, you better believe it hits different. While the company’s riding a wave of hype and historic moments, Jarrett’s blunt take throws cold water on the celebration. Numbers are flashy, sure—but without a clear destination, even the hottest run can lose steam fast.
