AEW Makes Major Change to Thanksgiving Dynamite for the First Time

by

AEW is breaking from tradition this year, with its Thanksgiving week episode of Dynamite leaving Chicago for the first time since the company’s launch.

The November 26 episode of Dynamite will now be held at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee. Tickets go on sale Monday, September 8. Alongside the live broadcast of Dynamite, AEW will also tape a special Thanksgiving edition of Collision, though broadcast plans for that show haven’t been announced yet.

Since 2019, Chicago has been the home for AEW’s pre-Thanksgiving shows — with the only exception being 2020 during the pandemic. This marks a major change for one of the company’s staple dates.

The Pinnacle, Nashville’s new state-of-the-art live music venue, has a capacity of 4,500 and officially opened in February 2025. AEW’s announcement highlighted the venue as a perfect fit for its biggest stars, with promotional material featuring Women’s World Champion Toni Storm, AEW World Champion Hangman Page, Tag Team Champions Bandido & Brody King, and Kris Statlander.

The Thanksgiving shows will serve as fallout from Full Gear, which takes place Saturday, November 22, in New Jersey. AEW also confirmed the pre-Full Gear edition of Dynamite will be held on November 19 at Boston’s Agganis Arena.
