AEW Opens More Seats for Forbidden Door in London Ahead of Expected Sellout

by

With just one day to go before AEW and NJPW’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view at The O2 Arena in London, AEW has opened up even more seats to meet red-hot demand.

On August 23, 2025, WrestleTix reported that additional seating was made available in both the hard camera section and on the floor. The total current setup now stands at 17,723, with 17,405 tickets already distributed and only 318 still available.

β€œSeats opened up in the hard cam section and on the floor,” WrestleTix noted in their latest update. They also confirmed that this represented a +130 ticket increase since the last report.

The event marks AEW’s debut at The O2, and it’s clear the venue will be near capacity. With a total of 17,867 mapped seats, the arena is expected to be packed, especially with ticket sales moving fast just 24 hours before showtime.

The pay-per-view starts at 6:00 pm BST on Sunday, August 24, and will have to finish before The O2’s strict 10:30 pm curfew. AEW has pushed the limits with marathon events this yearβ€”Double or Nothing ran the full 4 hours and 30 minutesβ€”but London’s curfew means Forbidden Door must be tighter and more efficient than usual. Going past curfew could reportedly cost AEW up to Β£10,000 per minute.

AEW’s packed lineup and rabid UK fanbase have made Forbidden Door one of the hottest tickets of the yearβ€”and now, fans who missed out on early sales may have one last chance to get in the building.
