Cristiano Ronaldo scored a penalty and João Félix netted a hat trick as Al Nassr beat Al Taawoun 5-0 in their Saudi Pro League season opener.
New signing Félix arrived from Chelsea last month and made an instant impact on his league debut for Al Nassr as he opened the scoring only seven minutes into the match.
Captain Ronaldo doubled the lead nine minutes after the break with a spot-kick before Kingsley Coman — another new arrival — got on the scoresheet one minute later.
Félix continued to star as the 25-year-old Portugal international scored his side’s fourth in the 67th minute.
He then completed his hat trick with three minutes left to complete a dominant victory for Al Nassr.
