One of Alex Pereira’s best highlight reel moments came in one of the UFC’s biggest events ever.
Back at UFC 300 in 2024, Pereira put the lights out on bitter rival and former UFC champion Jamahal Hill in style. After taking an accidental illegal groin kick, Pereira stopped the referee from intervening, pushing him aside, and then delivered a left hook from hell that sent Hill crashing down to the canvas. Only a few more shots were needed after the knockdown to lock in his first title defense as light heavyweight champion.

Pereira (12-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC) returns to the cage this Saturday in the main event of UFC 320 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. He takes on Magomed Ankalaev (21-1-1 MMA, 12-1-1 UFC) in an immediate rematch after losing his belt to the Russian fighter in March.
