MIAMI – Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley had no trouble making weight for their boxing match.
On Thursday, both men stepped on the scale looking to hit their contracted catchweight limit of 195 pounds – and both men came under the mark. Silva weighed 191.4, while Woodley registered 194.

The results set the stage for an unlikely boxing showdown between former UFC champions. The fight is part of the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua card that takes place Friday at Kaseya Center and streams on Netflix.
Silva is 3-2 as a boxer, having competed three times since 2021 after parting ways with the UFC. Woodley is 0-2, with both losses coming against Paul, one by knockout. Silva also lost to Paul by unanimous decision in 2022, which was his most recent appearance in the ring.
