Chicago Sky star Angel Reese had a memorable sophomore season in the WNBA. The 23-year-old was named an All-Star for the second straight year behind averages of 14.7 points, a league-best 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.5 steals in 31.6 minutes per game. Despite her strong play, the Sky still finished at 10-34, tied with the Dallas Wings for the worst record in the league.
Off the court, Reese shone even brighter in 2025. Among other things, she was named the cover athlete of NBA 2K26 in July, followed by the drop of her first signature shoe with Reebok in September.

Reese is not only one of the top young stars in the WNBA today. She has also firmly established herself as an icon in mainstream media. A testament to this is that she recently made history as the first active pro athlete to walk the Victoria’s Secret runway.
On Oct. 15, Reese took center stage in one of the most significant events in the fashion world as part of the famed Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She shared the spotlight with some of the top models in the industry, with Reese walking alongside the likes of Bella and Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel.

On Thursday, Reese dropped her behind-the-scenes vlog of her unforgettable Victoria’s Secret experience. In her recap, the Sky star announced that this was the first of many Victoria’s Secret shows she is going to take part in.
“It’s just been amazing,” she said. “All the women there were just so nice and welcoming, and they want to see me again on many more runways. Not just Victoria’s Secret, but different fashion shows.”
Reese went on to reveal that she’s going to be further pursuing her modeling career in the world of “high fashion.”

“I’m looking forward to that because I know that’s the next thing in the catalog,” she continued. “So many great things coming.”
Reese teased the vlog before it was published on the YouTube channel of her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast. She posted about it on X, which also included her revelation about her “long-term contract” with Victoria’s Secret.
“Since everybody wants to be apart, let me take you behind the scenes🤍 So excited to share my further relationship & the long-term contract I have with VS😁💗” Reese posted on X.

Reese has yet to reveal the details of her contract with the global lingerie brand. However, she did tease in her vlog that she’s going to be making another announcement soon.
“I know Victoria’s Secret, we have some great things coming as well, and I’m really excited to announce that soon,” she said, adding, “Hopefully I’m an OG like Adriana Lima and walking for 10, 15 years.”
Reese clearly has big plans away from basketball. As she said, she wants to remain in the modeling world for the next decade or so, which likely means that this will be a big part of her life outside of the WNBA.

As for her career with the Sky, the 6-foot-3 forward is still under contract with Chicago through 2027. She will be entering the third season of her four-year rookie contract with the team. Unless she signs an extension, Reese will be an unrestricted free agent in the 2027 offseason.
